Elevate Ensemble presents a concert full of pieces inspired by Stravinsky’s “The Soldier’s Tale” as well as the original piece itself. Opera on the Spot presents a concert of all women composers to take place at the historic Women’s Building in the Mission in SF. Featured on the concert are vocal and chamber works by Amy Beach, Clara Schumann, Margaret Bonds, Lili Boulanger and Bay Area composers, Julie Barwick, and Feona Lee Jones.
Newly-formed Siroko Duo, made up of the amazing flutists Jessie Nucho and Victoria Hauk, premiere my piece, Conversations. Also featured on the program will be new (or newly arranged) pieces by Emma Logan, Kyle Randall, and Joseph M. Colombo.
